Vacuum Leak Surveys
Our company specializes in energy loss surveys (steam traps, steam leaks, air leaks, etc.) We use ultrasonic equipment and can locate your leaks while your plant is in operation. Some plants that are using our program have been able to shut down one to three 2600 CFM compressors after repairing their leaks.
Locating Leaks
We use ultrasonic equipment to locate even the smallest of vacuum leaks. Leaks can also be located under normal operating conditions.
Identification
When we find a leak, we hang a metal numbered tag for identification purposes. In addition, we hang a 12"-14" fluorescent orange engineers flagging.
Survey & report
We'll provide a detailed report detailing the type, size, and location of leak, tag number, CFM loss per week, and the total dollar loss per year.
If vacuum leaks are allowed to go uncorrected, it doesn’t take long for them to get out of hand. The ideal time to inspect for vacuum leaks is while your plant is operating.
