Vacuum Leak Survey

If vacuum leaks are allowed to go uncorrected, it doesn’t take long for them to get out of hand. The ideal time to inspect for vacuum leaks is while your plant is operating. Some plants that are using our company have been able to shut down one to three 2600 CFM compressors after repairing their leaks.

Our Vacuum Leak Survey consists of the following:

  • Location of the vacuum leaks: We have proprietary testing equipment which will detect even the smallest of vacuum leaks. (We can locate your leaks under normal operating conditions.)
  • Tagging: Upon detection, the leak is tagged with a numbered metal tag. Beside each tag, we hang a 12″-14″ piece of fluorescent orange engineers flagging. This makes your leaks easy to locate.
  • Upon completion of the survey, you will receive an Excel report with the following information:
    • type of leak
    • size of leak
    • location of leak
    • tag number
